Keyboard Shortcuts for Windows

These keyboard shortcuts are specific to Windows Operating System.

High Contrast : SHIFT + ALT + PRINT

You can toggle on or off the High Contrast Mode of Windows by holding down both the Shift key and the Alt key on the left side of your keyboard then tapping the Print Screen (PrtScrn) key.

High Contrast mode will increase the font size for all windows and buttons as well as change your color scheme.

Switch Between Open Windows : ALT + TAB


Press Alt+Tab. If you have more than one window open, pressing Alt+Tab switches to the most recent window you used. Pressing it again swtiches back.

Show Desktop / Restore Open Windows : Windows key + D key

Rather than moving your mouse into the bottom right corner of your screen to see your desktop, press this keyboard shortcut. Press it again to restore your windows exactly as they were before.

Delete Without Confirmation: SHIFT + DEL

Just hold down the SHIFT key on your keyboard before you select delete from the context menu or tap on delete on the keyboard to bypass the Windows Recycle Bin.
